The Riverhills Singles ministry is open for all who are single no matter what the reason may be. Whether you have been married, single again, in the process of a divorce or single due to the loss of a spouse. So, accept our invitation to get involved in our weekly ministries and various fellowship opportunities.
Our mission is to bring single adults to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. To bring Singles to the understanding that we are whole in Christ and our fulfillment is in Him. To develop the ministry gifts that God has given each person knowing that God has called us to a purpose in Him.
Single Purpose Tampa - Singles Ministry is an open door ministry where people of all demographics can feel welcome and involved. Singles persons 30 years and greater are given the opportunity to take part in fellowship with other singles for spiritual development, encouragement and fun. A chance to make new friends, build relationships and work side by side with other singles who want to walk in God's purpose for their life.
A Singles Director leads the Singles Ministry along with Board of devoted Singles with a variety of God's gifts and talents. These gifts are used in the areas of Spiritual Development, Administration, Encouragement, Activities, Hospitality and Outreach. Single Purpose Tampa welcomes and continues to develop new leaders.
Singles Purpose Tampa offers an opportunity for singles to spend time in fellowship with other singles ministries during annual conferences, retreats and game nights.
Areas of opportunity for involvement in Single Purpose Tampa are through weekly bible study groups, cell and home group Bible studies, Sunday morning Bible study, monthly Sunday Covered Dish Luncheons, DivorceCare and Divorce Care 4-Kids, as well as men's and women's support groups.
Single Purpose Tampa is involved in community outreach events such as door-to-door evangelism, feeding the homeless, hospital and shut-in visitation, healthcare block parties. Additional community events include Christian concerts, Sunset Beach Communion Service, camping trip, 5-day and 7-day Caribbean cruises, picnics, bowling, game nights and bike rides are regularly scheduled outings.
Single Purpose Tampa participants are encouraged to:
- Focus our developing our relationship with Jesus Christ
- Secondly for those with children to focus their time with family
- Become involved in the many ministries of the church to strengthen their walk with the Lord
- Become involved in lifestyle evangelism
- Tithe and receive ALL the blessings God has for them
- Develop continuous focus on spiritual growth
- Be involved with mentoring and being mentored
- Identify Spiritual Gifts and begin daily use of God's Gifts
